Book Review: To Kill A Poet by Onwe Arinze

Revolutionary. If you've ever wondered how a revolution could actually happen in the 2020s world... this is exactly such a tale. Set in post-Arab Spring Africa, this is one of those thrillers that shows exactly how a Katniss Everdeen type revolution could happen in the real world in 12K clarity.

The action is tight, the intrigue is tighter, and you're not going to want to put this one down for a second. Making its barely 300 page length a touch of a mercy, as it can well be read inside just a few hours. Ask me how I know. ;)

Even while set in Nigeria and fully using a fully Nigerian cast, this is one of those books where Americans living in the 2020s are going to see a *lot* of possible/ potential parallels. To the level that this could be seen in headlines in America tomorrow, it feels *that* possible.

Truly a stunning work, one that will have you on the edge of your seat praying it doesn't leap off the page into your actual reality, because it truly feels *that* real.
